With plenty of learning theory and several working spots, this is a great way to learn new tools and techniques, and see change happen in real time.
If you are an obedience group, shelter, rescue organisation or dog training business, and you are interested in running one of the below workshops, get in touch to discuss details.
Workshops, dates and locations will be posted under shop when details are confirmed.
CRANKY CANINES – DOG AGGRESSION WORKSHOP
1 OR 2 DAY WORKSHOP
This workshop is geared towards gaining a clear understanding of dog aggression and how to begin modifying aggressive behaviour in our best friends.
Stian Berg – also known as the Viking dog trainer – is the owner and head trainer of Beautiful Beasts dog training and behaviour modification. He specialises in puppy development, aggression rehabilitation and behaviour modification, in all breeds and sizes of dogs.
After multiple requests to run a presentation about dog aggression, he finally got around to sitting down and writing ‘Cranky Canines’, a workshop which deep dives into everything from learning theory, aggression assessment and management, tools of the trade and behaviour modification theory.
Plenty of useful information, plenty of videos detailing the way Stian works, and hopefully some good laughs along the way.
ELECTRIC BEASTS – ELECTRONIC COLLAR WORKSHOP
1 DAY WORKSHOP
A full day workshop for anyone wanting to learn more about the use of an electronic collar. Whether you’re new to using an e-collar and simply want to guarantee your dogs recall, or you’re a trainer looking to understand how the e-collar can be used to deal with complex behavioural issues, this workshop is for you!
We cover learning theory, laws and mechanics of electronic collars, finding the lowest perceivable level and low stim conditioning processes, five ways of implementing e-collars and working through higher class problem behaviours with an e-collar.
The workshop is run by Stian Berg – also known as the Viking dog trainer – who is the owner and head trainer of Beautiful Beasts dog training and behaviour modification. He specialises in puppy development, high drive dogs, aggression rehabilitation and behaviour modification, in all breeds and sizes of dogs.
Lots of useful information, several working spots to how real life application and hopefully many good laughs along the way.
